Some changes were made after the Tankwa. Me and Sasol agreed that I will not race for them, no contract had been signed so it was easy for us to part. That also meant that I did not do the GR300 as planned.
Instead I will from now on ride for CBC (Cape Brewing Company), a local craft beer brewery outside Paarl, owned by Åbro in Sweden. It is very exciting and it is nice to have a sponsor with a Swedish connection.
In just one day it was decided that I will still ride the Epic, under the CBC flag, together with Theresa Ralph. A very strong rider!! We are looking forward to this adventure!
I will be riding a Pronghorn bike and it was Christmas the other day when it arrived by the door!!
