So the Swedish Champs Time Trail is done. Not a good day for me. I felt well prepared and everything felt good before. I had a bit of bad luck in the draw for the starting order, I got first and had no one to “chase”. My radio did not work so I never heard the times and positions and the cheering on that my service car gave me, so I had nothing to indicate how I was doing. It was a really hard course with lots of hills so the average speed did not say much either, I knew the course since I have been training on it, but yesterday just felt awful. I really would have needed the back up from the car behind me. I probably went out to hard and hit the wall because my legs only felt numb and my heart rate did not want to go up. I finished 10th and am a bit disappointed with my day.
But it still went alright for my team Alriksson, Me (10), Marie (11) and Catrine (13) got the gold in the team classification and Hanna Larsson (16), Carolin Gustavsson (17) and Hanna Laxholm (19) got the bronze.
So now we will recharge the batteries for the road race on Saturday.
